Inspired by a smaller, collectors’-favorite print, this 36x36 inch, grand-size print creates a focal point in any room with an inviting, calming presence.

“The Grand River Edge” suits its name well. Offering subtle movement and depth, this composition boasts thoughtfully laid brush strokes that sweep the canvas. Its relaxed yet cheerful colors make it suited for any space. There is a cohesive and uniting color scheme, without one color dominating another: The sky is a warm, timeless white that eases down through the river as a warm, soft, buttery yellow and ends in a grounding, rich earth-tone. The richness of the earth tones settle the scene. Surrounding the river, a vast hillside of a variety of enduring greens roll gently into the sky and lightens to the softest greys that lean subtly pink and purple. And finally, as the hills rise and fall, in the shadows you’ll find delicate, dusty blues and traditional teals. 

This timeless art print can play many roles for all tastes as it is quiet for those who prefer a clean crisp finish while equally full of harmonious colors that encompass surrounding colors in the room it is in. 

Printed on premium Matte Cotton Canvas, mounted over 1.5 inch thick (depth) stretcher bars. This beautiful print wraps around the sides of the canvas allowing it to hang with or without a frame. Signed by hand by Sarah C. Nightingale on the front.  

Every print is embellished by hand (a practice often used in the fine art world) meaning Sarah uses her artist’s touch to apply oil paint directly to the art print in small areas to further accent highlights and certain colors across the canvas making it even more like the original oil painting. This makes every print one-of-a-kind and the closest offering to an original without being an original.
